Ming Ri Ye
Ming Ri Ye originated in volcanic mountain region of Japan, most of which were grown in Ba Zhang Island. It is a kind of herbaceous plant, commonly known as Fan Yang Grass. After Nagasaki was hit by atomic bomb, it is the first plant to sprout.
This is why the Japanese Agricultural Department gave importance to and make study on this plant. Based on the investigation report prepared by the Japanese Food Center, the
plant contains elements of germanium, as well as various vitamins and minerals. It is currently very popular in Japan and also known as "Present Day Peach Blossom" and is exported to USA. In Taiwan, much effort was put in nurturing and popularizing this plant. Ming Ri Ye is rich in germanium, vitamins and minerals. In the olden days, it is used to prevent troubles of the vital organs of the human body, and is specially helpful to the liver function and gastro, hypertension, diabetes, fat in blood, uric acid, black spots, freckles, acne. Ming Ri Ye also has Vitamin B12 element that can help the flow of blood and eliminate impurities in blood vessels. The plant is grown organically, free from pesticides, chemical additives and coloring. ----------↑Top

Sweet Persimmon
Pan Lu Hsiang produce abundant persimmon. After harvest, they were traditionally soaked into fresh lime water. That is why they are also called "water persimmon" or "soak persimmon". Presently, newer and simpler methods were used by using alcohol and by developing successful another method.
Xi Deng produces red persimmon that is crunch, sweet and juicy. Xi Deng together with Pan Lo produce the best persimmon in Taiwan. Their quality is outstanding and best for baking persimmon cake, a rare delicacy. -↑Top

At the foot of Alishan where the winter temperature is low, it is best suitable for cultivation of pear trees and best prepare them for fruit bearing in spring. And the location of Zhu Qi is near the Tropic of Cancer, giving the plants ample of sunlight in summer, which is also the time of their maturity. Xin Gang Maltose

Xin Gang Maltose
Their original name is "Lao Shu Zai Tang" and also known as "Shuang Ren Run".
It was first made in 1891 by street vendor Lu Qi Tou in Jiang Jou, Min Xiong Chuang, by placing wet peanut into just cooked maltose. This causes the peanut and maltose to mix together. Thereafter, they are separated into small portion. They are shaped like mouse. Later on, the people thought the name is not refined and thus called by another name "Shuang Ren Run". On the 20th year of Guang Xu during the temple celebration of Xin Kang Matzu, its name was changed to "Xin Gang Maltose" and became the founder of this food.
